Job summary

Trolley Hospitality Companies, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Morning Kitchen Prep Assistant to support our deli and catering operations. You will wash, chop, and assemble ingredients, and ensure quick, efficient prep for daily service.

The role requires early shifts Sunday to Wednesday and some Thursday; you should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Bilingual Spanish a plus; competitive pay $15–$16/hr plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Morning availability and ability to start before sun rises.
• Neat and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, cutting, grinding, weighing, and mixing.
• Assemble salads, sandwiches, sides and desserts and package them for retail sale.
• Organize packaged food items and place in staging area for drivers to pick up and deliver.
• Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
• Available to work early mornings Sunday- Wednesday 6:00AM-2:00PM & Thursday 5:00AM-1:00PM
