Job summary

Groovin' Gourmets, the catering division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, is hiring a full-time Kitchen Utility/Dishwasher in Richmond, VA. You will maintain cleanliness, operate a commercial dishwasher, and support the kitchen team during service hours.

We value punctuality, attention to detail, and safety. The Thursday–Monday 6:00-2:00PM schedule offers a stable rhythm, with $15/hr depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package including holidays, health plans, a 401(k) plan

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods while working in a kitchen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
• Commitment to food safety procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash bins, remove waste, and dispose of debris.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and related equipment.
• Manually clean surfaces and assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Provide additional support to kitchen team during busy periods.

What you will be doing:

• Empty trash bins, collect and remove waste from the floor and work surfaces, separate recyclables and properly dispose of grease.
• Run the commercial grade dishwasher, including using the sink sprayer, a lever-operated washing unit and a drying station.
• Manually clean a variety of surfaces, including scrubbing debris off pots and wiping down surfaces.
• Additional support kitchen staff, as needed.
