Job summary

Trolley House Refreshments, the convenience services division of Trolley Hospitality Companies in Richmond, VA, seeks a morning-oriented Food Prep Team member to prepare, assemble, and package fresh foods for retail sale. You will maintain cleanliness, stock, and ensure food safety during shifts that start before sunrise.

We offer full-time hours with early Sunday-Wednesday and Thursday shifts, competitive pay, and benefits including holidays, medical plans, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen language.
• 1-2 Years of Food Prep Experience would be nice.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Conversational Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, cutting, grinding, weighing, and mixing.
• Assemble salads, sandwiches, sides and desserts and package them for retail sale.
• Organize packaged food items and place in staging area for drivers to pick up and deliver.
• Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
• Available to work early mornings Sunday- Wednesday 6:00AM-2:00PM & Thursday 5:00AM-1:00PM.
