Trolley House Refreshments is recruiting for a Full-Time Kitchen Prep role based in Richmond, VA. The position runs Saturday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with pay in the $17–$19/hour range and full benefits.

The team values punctuality, cleanliness, and a can-do attitude while delivering high-quality food service to offices, hotels, and venues. Ideal candidates bring hands-on food prep skills, basic kitchen terminology, and a neat appearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food prep experience.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen language.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Conversational Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, cut, weigh, mix, and cook ingredients according to set recipe and food safety standards.
• Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment, as needed.
• Work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
• Available to work early mornings: Saturday - Wednesday 6:00AM-2:PM
