Job summary

Goode Company is hiring for a Salad station cook to support a fast-paced kitchen in Texas. You will set up and stock the Salad station, prepare salads and cold items to recipe standards, and ensure timely communication with the line and service teams.

Ideal candidates bring line-cook or high-volume kitchen experience, strong knowledge of station organization and sanitation, and the ability to work calmly under pressure while following recipes and communicating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Line-cook or comparable high-volume kitchen experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes, stay composed under pressure, and communicate with the team.
• Food Handler Certification required/preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the Salad station for efficient service.
• Prepare and finish salads and cold items with consistent seasoning, portioning, and presentation.
• Read orders and coordinate timing with line, expo, and service team.
• Monitor product quality, waste, and food safety controls.
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning tasks thoroughly.
