Job summary

Goode Company in Texas is seeking a Kitchen Prep team member to support daily cooking operations, following recipes, prep lists, and production priorities with accuracy. You will wash, portion, label, and rotate ingredients, maintain a clean workstation, and monitor quality while communicating shortages or concerns.

The role emphasizes sanitation, knife skills, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A Food Handler Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen, food-production, or relevant preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow written recipes and verbal direction with consistent accuracy.
• Knife skills, sanitation awareness, organization, urgency, and teamwork.
• Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, prep lists, yields, portions, and production priorities accurately.
• Wash, cut, portion, mix, label, cool, store, and rotate ingredients safely.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked workstation.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shortages, waste, or specification concerns.
• Use knives, smallware, scales, and commercial equipment safely.
• Complete sanitation, breakdown, and assigned closing work thoroughly.
