Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen, food prep, or restaurant environment preferred.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of fresh ingredient handling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble fresh salads and cold dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
• Wash, chop, and portion vegetables, fruits, and other salad ingredients.
• Maintain proper food storage and labeling to ensure freshness and food safety compliance.
• Monitor and restock salad station supplies throughout service.
• Keep prep area clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines per local food handling regulations.
