Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a salad bar team member at our Royersford location. You will prepare items for the salad bar, stock everything, and ensure items remain fresh while strictly following food safety requirements.

This role requires lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for portions of shifts, and adherence to PPE, schedule reviews, and proper dress code. Teamwork and reliability are highly valued to serve customers and the community.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for salad bar – cut fruit, set up salad bar, and keep all items stocked and fresh.
• Execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar.
• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, and comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Receive, store, and stock items.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, all floors, and all counters.
