Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members for salad bar preparation at our Souderton location. You will cut fruit, set up the salad bar, and keep items stocked and fresh while following all food safety standards.

You will review schedules at the start of each shift, comply with PPE requirements, and help receive, store, and stock items. A focus on cleanliness and safe operation is essential to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the job.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used in the job.
• Must perform all functions safely.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for salad bar - cut fruit, set up salad bar, keep items stocked and fresh.
• Execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar.
• Review work schedule and required equipment at shift start, comply with PPE requirements.
• Receive, store, and stock items.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
