Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member to support daily salad bar operations. You will prepare items, cut fruit, stock and keep items fresh, and execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar. Authorized to work in the U.S. is assumed.

You will review the shift schedule at start, comply with PPE, receive and store items, and maintain clean surfaces and display areas. This role emphasizes safety, attendance, and the ability to work with team members to serve customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to complete job duties and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Must communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Must comply with company safety regulations and food safety requirements.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for salad bar – cut fruit, set up salad bar, and keep items stocked and fresh.
• Execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar.
• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and verify equipment and supplies, and comply with PPE requirements.
• Receive, store, and stock items.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, display cases, floors, and counters.
