Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring a salad bar/prep team member at our Carlisle, PA store. You will prepare items for the salad bar, stock fresh ingredients, and ensure food safety standards are met.

You will review shift schedules at the start, stock supplies, and maintain clean surfaces and equipment. This role requires reading and following policies, physical stamina, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete duties and follow policies.
• Complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools.
• Must wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for salad bar - cut fruit, set up salad bar, and keep items stocked and fresh.
• Execute all food safety requirements for the salad bar.
• Review the work schedule and confirm equipment and PPE at shift start.
• Receive, store, and stock items.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
