Job summary

SEPTA, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority in Philadelphia, is hiring a Safety Training Program Specialist (9264) to lead and implement a comprehensive safety training program across the Authority. The role focuses on coordinating, designing, facilitating, and evaluating training on Occupational, Environmental, and Construction safety, and configuring computer-based training.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required plus three years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Strong planning, analytical, and administrative skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience developing training programs utilizing webinars or e-learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and improve safety training policies and procedures.
• Coordinate safety training programs and administer employee development initiatives.
• Implement classroom, e-learning, and simulations training for all staff.
• Ensure training plans meet all regulatory requirements and training frequency.
• Analyze data to identify training needs and support safety culture.
• Deliver training materials across multiple locations, 24/7 access.
• Maintain records in the divisional filing system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
