Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Safety Supervisor in Rockingham, NC. The role focuses on leading safety initiatives, training, and ensuring compliance across the facility, including off-shift operations.

You will guide plant safety efforts and partner with site leadership to promote safe work practices and a culture of safety. Responsibilities include conducting daily JSA audits, training associates, supporting safety meetings, and assisting in incident investigations and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or Occupational Health & Safety or 3–5 years of safety experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead safety programs and drive compliance.
• Strong knowledge of working in a manufacturing/industrial safety environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support plant safety efforts, often on off-shift or designated area.
• Deliver safety training and oversee JSA processes for incidents and near-misses.
• Conduct daily safety audits and report findings with corrective actions.
• Assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis with leadership.
• Participate in safety meetings and support site safety initiatives.
