Perdue AgriBusiness in Cofield, North Carolina is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead the site-level process safety program and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements. You will drive risk reduction across operations and partner with plant leadership and frontline staff to implement sustainable safety solutions.

Competenze

Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.
2+ years of process safety experience in chemical manufacturing or agricultural processing.
Experience applying the 14 elements of Process Safety Management.
Experience with Risk-Based Process Safety programs.
Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
Continuous improvement mindset.

Mansioni

Lead and manage the site-level process safety program.
Monitor, evaluate, and report process safety metrics.
Participate in Process Safety Management audits.
Manage actions to resolve audit findings.
Ensure adherence to Management of Change standards.
Review and approve MOC requests.
Organize and maintain process safety documentation.
Provide Process Safety Management training.
Lead local PSM risk assessments and incident investigations.
Ensure timely execution of corrective actions.
Collaborate with project engineering on capital projects for process safety guidance.
