Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Rockingham, NC. You will lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and ensure on-time product flow.

The role emphasizes coaching, continuous improvement, adherence to HACCP/QA/OSHA standards, and collaboration with maintenance and other departments. A sign-on bonus is offered for offers by Oct 15.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have at least 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA 10/30 or similar certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules, quality and output goals.
• Mentor and coach associates on skills, performance, and development.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, HACCP, GMP).
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to minimize downtime and waste.
• Maintain production records and report status to management.
