Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Safety Specialist in Apex, NC to oversee warehouse safety, conduct risk assessments, and improve procedures. You will lead safety programs, investigate incidents, and deliver trainings to staff while coordinating with operations and regulatory bodies.

The role emphasizes safety data analysis, procurement collaboration, and continuous improvement to maintain high safety standards and operational excellence within a dynamic real estate services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience in warehouse, materials management, inventory control, or procurement
• 1-5 years in safety management, materials coordination, or related environments
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across warehouse operations
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and corrective actions
• Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks to employees
• Track safety metrics, materials usage, and inventory levels; report to leadership
• Coordinate with operations, management, and external regulatory agencies during inspections
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills
