Job summary

Greenwood Associates Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs to ensure OSHA compliance and risk reduction.

You will lead safety inspections, investigations, training, and engagement efforts, maintain records, and collaborate with HR and department heads to drive safety metrics and a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Occupational Safety or related field and 2–5 years of safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and recordkeeping requirements.
• Experience conducting inspections, investigations, and employee training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct risk assessments.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate safety training and toolbox talks for staff.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Monitor safety metrics and drive continuous improvement.
