Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead safety and risk management initiatives across facilities.

You will analyze risk data to target injury prevention opportunities and support safety training for managers during new hire onboarding. The role involves coordinating safety committees, investigating injuries with local management, and guiding duty and process adjustments under IDM direction, plus participation in weekly reviews of workers’ compensation and auto liability

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 6 to 8 plus years of specific experience

Responsibilities

Implements and delivers safety and risk management initiatives; analyzes risk data to identify opportunities for injury prevention.
Coordinate safety committee meetings and activities with key employees and management to discuss risk assessments and mitigation.
Facilitate the safety component of new hire orientation by conducting safety training for management.
Coordinate with local management in the investigation of workplace injuries and collisions and modify duties as directed by IDM team.
Coordinate and participate in workers’ compensation and auto liability claim reviews in weekly management meetings.
