Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a Safety/Risk Manager to lead day-to-day risk management and safety across all operations. You will work with Operations, HR, Legal, and Finance to promote a safe, compliant work environment and drive incident reporting, investigations, and risk reduction.

You will coordinate insurance, renewal activities, and claims oversight, supporting the VP of Risk Management and enterprise risk initiatives while maintaining OSHA compliance and safety training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, risk management, finance, business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in safety and/or risk management.
• Two years of experience in business insurance renewal, administration, and claims review.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, ARM, CRM, CPCU, or PRM are preferred.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and risk management principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s safety program across all locations and promote a culture of safety.
• Serve as Lead for the Safety Committee; establish goals and track results.
• Develop and update the Safety Manual, policies, and procedures.
• Manage incident reporting, investigation, and workers’ compensation/claims coordination.
• Coordinate claims activity with brokers and internal stakeholders; monitor trends.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and multi-state safety regulations and recordkeeping.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments, audits, and corrective action plans.
• Partner with Training to deploy required safety programs and regulatory training.
• Assist with enterprise risk initiatives and insurance program administration.
