Safety & Risk Manager

Position Summary

The Safety & Risk Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's safety, loss prevention, and risk management programs. The primary objective of this role is to reduce the frequency and severity of claims, protect employees and company assets, and support the organization's overall financial and operational objectives through proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management

• Develop and maintain comprehensive workplace safety programs and policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead accident prevention initiatives and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Coordinate employee safety training and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

• Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to optimize the company's risk transfer approach.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and industry requirements.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping related to safety and risk management activities.
• Develop and present risk management reports to senior leadership.
