Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in safety operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Preferred First Aid/CPR knowledge and OSHA/DOT regulations familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects operations to ensure safe practices and guards are in place.
• Investigates accidents and near misses and implements corrective measures.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management.
• Conducts new-hire safety training and policy education.
• Trains employees on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee and oversees training.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and required reports.
• Communicates with HR and third-party claims administrators.
