Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate.
• 0–2 years safety or woodworking operations experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office suites (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• First Aid/CPR and OSHA/DOT knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects facility operations for safe practices and proper PPE use.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies trends and corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management.
• Conducts new hire safety training and ensures policy understanding.
• Chairs the Safety Committee and maintains safety communications.
• Maintains OSHA 300 logs and required safety reports.
• Coordinates forklift training and annual safety inspections.
