Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects facility operations to ensure safe job practices and proper use of protective equipment and guards.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies trends and ensures corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management.
• Conduces new hire safety training and ensures understanding of safety practices and policies.
• Provides training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and other required reports; prepares regular and special reports.
• Coordinates safety drills and tours by safety and health regulatory agencies.
• Manages medical restriction work allocations and communication with HR and third-party claims administrators.
