Qualifications

• Bi-lingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices and proper PPE.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies trends and corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management.
• Conducts new hire safety training and ensures policy understanding.
• Provides training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee.
• Maintains first aid, CPR supplies and OSHA/records.
• Coordinates forklift training.
• Coordinates annual fire inspections and regulatory tours.
• Monitors hearing conservation program.
• Coordinates medical restriction work duties.
• Maintains communication with management, HR, and third-party claims admins.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and other required reports.
• Prepares regular and special reports as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
