Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate.
• 0–2 years of safety or woodworking experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices, PPE use, and guards are in place.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses, identifies trends, and ensures corrective actions.
• Works with management to develop safety programs and incentives.
• Conducts new hire safety training and ensures understanding of policies.
• Provides training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee.
• Maintains OSHA 300 logs and safety inventories.
• Prepares regular and special safety reports.
