Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–2 years safety or woodworking operations experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Preferred First Aid/CPR experience and OSHA/DOT knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices and guards are in place.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses, identifies trends, and ensures corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management as appropriate.
• Conducts new hire safety training and ensures understanding of safety policies.
• Provides training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Chairs the Safety Committee.
• Maintains adequate safety supplies, first aid, CPR readiness.
• Conducts forklift training and certifies operators.
• Coordinated annual fire inspections and regulatory tours.
