Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead data-driven safety programs, conduct audits, and drive a proactive safety culture across sites. You will collaborate with associates and leaders to champion safety and maintain high standards of protection for employees.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, excellent communication, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment with variable shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related field or 6 months Amazon safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in workplace matters.

Responsabilités

• Drive safety programs through data-driven strategies, audits, investigations, and risk assessments with proactive solutions.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing, build partnerships across levels, coach and promote a safety-first culture.
• Handle required safety tasks and site responsibilities, including emergency response support and risk mitigation.
