Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an entry-level Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to join its safety team in the United States. You will receive extensive safety training and develop into a safety leader, driving a proactive safety culture and partnering with leaders to protect associates across fulfillment sites.

The role focuses on coordinating safety programs, performing audits, and driving continuous safety improvements in a fast-moving operations environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in safety-related employment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and implement all aspects of Amazon’s Global Safety Program.
• Identify safety risks and inform management through audits.
• Facilitate incident investigations processes.
• Maintain paperwork to comply with Amazon and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments (Job Hazard Analysis).
• Record safety incident information in internal databases.
• Innovate on process improvements and manage actions to completion.
• Train and assist team members to complete safety tasks.
