Job summary

Via is seeking a Safety Operations Manager to oversee driver safety programs, lead in-person and virtual training, and support market operations to ensure drivers meet safety and service standards.

You will conduct post-incident reviews, coordinate with central operations, and act as DER for DOT compliance where needed, with a focus on safety, defensive driving, and passenger assistance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in driver training, operations management, or field supervision.
• Strong ability to coach, motivate, and manage diverse driver teams.
• Solid understanding of safety, ADA, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety lead for the service with post-incident reviews and safety audits.
• Monitor safety data trends and collaborate to coaching and process improvements.
• Lead driver training programs including onboarding and refresher sessions.
