Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience.
  • Experience with a General Contractor preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/510 preferred.
  • Experience conducting jobsite inspections, audits, and safety training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with field and project management teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, training, and educational programs.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and develop corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and records.
  • Assist project teams with preconstruction safety planning and job hazard analysis.
  • Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Help implement and continuously improve company-wide safety initiatives.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture focused on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

SAFETY MANAGER - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

A well-established General Contractor who is doing a multi-billion dollar project is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and promote a strong safety culture across commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys working directly with project teams and has a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.

Responsibilities
