Job summary

Resource Professional Solutions partners with an established construction client to recruit an experienced Safety Manager for direct-hire engagement. You will lead site- and project-level safety programs, enforce OSHA compliance, and drive proactive safety across complex projects in the field.

The role requires strong communication with project leaders, incident investigations, training delivery, and travel to local and regional sites; a Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project- and site-level safety programs.

• Conduct proactive jobsite safety inspections and identify hazards.

I’m partnering with an established construction organization on a confidential search for an experienced Safety Manager to join their team.

This is a direct-hire opportunity for a safety professional who has a strong background in construction safety, enjoys being active in the field, and can lead safety initiatives across complex projects while partnering closely with project and operations leadership.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Lead and oversee project- and site-level safety, health, and environmental programs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Conduct proactive jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards
• Develop site-specific safety plans and corrective action strategies
• Lead incident investigations, documentation, and follow-up
• Develop and deliver new-hire orientation and ongoing safety training
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Field Safety Coordinators, and field personnel
• Develop and implement crisis management and emergency response plans
• Support workers’ compensation and return-to-work initiatives
• Participate in preconstruction planning to identify project-specific safety requirements
• Accompany regulatory, insurance, and safety inspectors during site visits
• Serve as a key safety contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and support members of the safety team

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of safety experience within construction or a closely related industry
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections and incident investigations
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
• Understanding of mechanical construction practices is highly preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to local and regional project sites, with occasional overnight travel
