Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks an experienced Pipefitter to oversee piping installation and maintenance across industrial facilities. You will read isometric drawings, determine layout and pipe specifications, and guide crew members through fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks.

The role requires a strong focus on safety, ability to plan work, and independent judgement to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related experience.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and blueprints.
• Plan own work and delegate tasks to crew members.
• Demonstrate independent judgement daily.
• Adhere to safety and project rules.

Responsibilities

• Selects pipe type and size per job specs.
• Inspects site for obstructions and plans sequence.
• Cuts, threads, and bends pipe using appropriate tools.
• Installs and mounts pipe supports and fittings.
• Assembles piping systems and tests for leaks.
• Welds pipe supports to structural members.
• Operates and observes machinery for repairs.
• Loads and transports materials, tools, and supplies.
• Adheres to safety rules and procedures.
• Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of tools.
