Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a skilled piping foreman to oversee crew members and ensure safe, timely installation of piping systems. You will read isometric drawings, determine location and sizes, and coordinate fabrication, assembly, and installation of pipework and related equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience with pipe welding, bending, threading, and securing pipes, as well as conducting leak tests and maintaining tools and safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and determine location, orientation and sizes.
• Experience installing/maintaining piping systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Selects pipe type and size and related materials according to job specifications.
• Inspects site for obstructions and plans installation sequence.
• Cuts, threads, and bends pipe using appropriate tools.
• Assembles and installs pipes and fittings with joints.
• Tests piping systems for leaks and checks safety compliance.
• Loads, transports and maintains tools and materials on site.
