Job summary

Stfrancis in Carmel, Indiana, offers a Safety Analytics internship on-site at our Carmel headquarters. You will observe Safety department meetings, analyze data, and identify trends to present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Aviation Management or related field.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

About You

The company is looking for:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aviation Management, Operational Analysis/Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a similar field
• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a business group
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work onsite at the Carmel Headquarters location unless otherwise directed
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle abstract and concrete variables
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Makes day-to-day decisions supporting strategic direction, often without established precedents
• Able to work independently or as part of a team to drive results
