Job summary

Stfrancis is seeking a paid, full-time accounting internship for the summer to support month-end close activities and reporting. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with financial statements and planning materials.

The role requires pursuing an accounting or related degree, familiarity with Excel, and strong organizational and communication skills. US Persons status is required and you will gain hands-on experience across finance teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in accounting, business administration, or related field at an accredited college or university or with equivalent background.
• US Persons status is required.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with basic accounting software or accounting spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Self-directed, results-oriented, and flexible.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to sit and view a computer monitor for long periods.
