UEC in Indianapolis, IN seeks an ambitious intern to support operations at LIFT Academy. You will audit training records, help ensure timely training, and manage the department inbox to provide fast, accurate responses.

You will also participate in planning and delivering workshops, engage with students and staff, and communicate department announcements. The role blends fast-paced tasks with routine operations and offers mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS in business or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and data interpretation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; strong communication.
• On-site work availability at LIFT Academy in Indianapolis.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Conduct audits over training records and data requirements
• Ensure students are training in a timely and efficient manner
• Review and filter department inbox to ensure quick and accurate responses
• Conduct projects related to specific operational tasks on hand
• Work with student and employee engagement
• Assist with planning and facilitating workshops for academic development
• Communicate announcements through the department
• Adapt to a flexible office environment requiring both fast-paced critical assignments and normal daily operations

About You

The company is looking for:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Business Administration, Human Resource, or related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient communication skills
• Flexible and willing to help other team members as projects arise
• Ability to work onsite at LIFT Academy – Indianapolis, IN
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific, technical, financial, and legal documents
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members
• Ability to present information effectively to top management, public groups, and boards of directors
• Ability to interpret technical or diagram instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Maintain confidentiality
• Make day-to-day decisions supporting strategic direction, often without established precedents
• Work independently or as part of a team to drive results
