Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Assist with general accounting activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts at month-end close
• Support financial data and report preparation, such as sales and gross margin reports by customer and product line financial statements
• Assist with annual operating plan schedules and other reports as needed
• Collect data to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks
• Carry out other related duties as required

About You

The company is looking for:

• Students pursuing a degree in accounting, business administration, or related field from an accredited college or university or with equivalent background
• US Persons status is required
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Familiarity with basic accounting software or accounting spreadsheets
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-directed, results-oriented, and flexible
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to sit and view a computer monitor for long periods
