Chimes District of Columbia Inc. is seeking a safety professional to oversee on-site safety for custodial and operations across DC facilities.

The role emphasizes enforcing safety programs, coordinating with QA & Compliance, and delivering OSHA 10/30-hour trainings. The position requires an undergraduate safety-related degree and OSHA Outreach Trainer authorization, with CPR/First-Aid instructor certification preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA Outreach Trainer (501) authorization required or willingness to obtain.
• CPR/First-Aid Instructor certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of employees, subcontractors, and the public during custodial and other operations.
• Enforce safety programs and compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Develop and coordinate project safety programs with QA & Compliance and Training departments.
• Conduct safety training sessions including OSHA 10/30 hours.
• Perform regular safety surveys, inspections, and written reports with corrective actions.
