Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia Inc is seeking an experienced Operations/Contract Manager to oversee day-to-day contract performance, create staffing and scheduling plans, and monitor progress against ROM guidelines.

You will also back up the APM, drive safety training, and ensure compliance with SDS, CPR/First Aid, and OSHA standards. A minimum 5+ years of workforce management on similarly scaled contracts is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus).
• 5+ years managing a workforce on a contract of similar scope and size.
• Familiarity with building service management, equipment, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day performance of assigned contracts, following ROM guidelines and contract specifications.
• Build staffing, work, transportation, and building schedules that meet contract requirements.
• Track completed and outstanding work, spot productivity trends, and keep things on schedule.
• Step in as backup APM whenever needed.
• Champion quality and safety across all activities.
• Develop sustainment and leadership training for supervisors.
• Keep the business running with floor care, scheduling, payroll, and budget tracking.
• Be the bridge by building relationships with government facility staff and reps.
