Chimes District of Columbia seeks a Lead Worker (Finance) to supervise custodial teams, oversee daily cleaning duties, and ensure contract compliance across executive and public spaces. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, maintaining high safety standards, and coordinating with supervisors to meet quality targets.

The position requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to facility needs, with responsibilities spanning restrooms, common areas, and special events

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise custodial team to meet contract specifications.
• Perform daily cleaning and mentor staff in day-to-day activities.
• Report facilities issues to supervisor and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain restrooms and other public areas per contract requirements.
• Move, lift heavy items and assist with special events as needed.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and proper use of cleaning supplies.
