Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia is seeking a Safety Compliance Manager to oversee the safety of employees, subcontractors and the public during DC operations. You will enforce safety programs and collaborate with the QA & Compliance and Training teams to implement project-specific safety initiatives.

The role requires administering OSHA 10/30-hour trainings, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring on-site security and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a safety or related field preferred.
• Current OSHA Authorized General Industry Outreach Trainer authorization (OSHA #501) required.
• Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of employees, subcontractors and general public during Chimes DC operations.
• Enforce safety and health programs per federal, state and local standards.
• Develop, coordinate and upgrade safety programs with QA & Compliance and Training departments.
• Conduct OSHA 10- and 30-hour classes as required.
• Coordinate third party reviews with OSHA or other bodies when necessary.
