Job summary

Chimes DC is seeking a Safety Trainer to oversee and advance safety programs across our facilities. You will enforce health and safety standards, conduct OSHA training, and collaborate with the Corporate Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance and Training to tailor site-specific programs.

You'll assess risks, deliver ongoing training, manage PPE compliance, and maintain safety records, reports, and audits. A background in safety with OSHA trainer credentials is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in safety or related field is preferred.
• OSHA Outreach Trainer authorization (501) and renewal (503) required.
• Knowledge of federal/state safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of employees, subcontractors, and public during operations.
• Enforce safety programs and standards per regulations.
• Develop and coordinate project-specific safety programs with QA & Compliance.
• Conduct OSHA 10/30-hour classes as required.
• Perform safety surveys, inspections, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and supervise staff.
