Job summary

NAFA Fleet Management Association is seeking a Safety & Fleet Manager to lead and continuously improve company safety, fleet, driver-training, and compliance programs across all locations.

You will oversee DOT compliance, driver qualification, vehicle inspections, and GPS dash-cam monitoring, while developing training and performance metrics for delivery drivers and staff. This role reports to the VP of Operations and requires hands-on leadership across branches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related safety or fleet certifications preferred.
• Five or more years of safety, fleet operations, transportation, or logistics experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Ability to travel regularly among all company locations and work across office, shop, and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, fleet, driver-training, and transportation-compliance programs across locations.
• Establish and reinforce safety and fleet performance expectations.
• Coordinate driver training, road tests, and development plans.
• Maintain driver-qualification and fleet-compliance records.
• Oversee DOT compliance, inspections, and audits.
• Manage GPS dash-cam safety workflows and coaching.
• Develop training matrices and materials and ensure timely delivery.
