Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a frontline team and uphold the Safety Above All culture. You will oversee package sortation, staff scheduling, and coaching to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will manage administrative tasks, adhere to policies and regulations, and mentor staff while driving performance. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in package handler or supervisory roles or equivalent.
• In lieu of experience, 2+ years of college coursework towards a degree.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All culture and initiatives.
• Manage hiring, coaching, training, recognition, performance evaluation and discipline.
• Organize and direct day-to-day operations.
• Assign staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation and cost control.
• Analyze performance and drive improvement through action plans.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates to staff.
• Support employee relations and safety program administration.
• Coach and mentor junior supervisors to develop key skills.
• Adapt quickly to changing business needs while maintaining professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
