Job summary

Amcor Oshkosh is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Converting (pouching) department on a 12-hour 2/2/3 shift. You will drive safety, quality and productivity while managing schedules and daily production targets.

You’ll supervise a high-performance team, engage in continuous improvement, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues. Amcor offers extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, production supervision, quality, maintenance or related experience preferred OR equivalent combination totaling 5+ years
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Computer proficiency with SAP a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Oversee daily production to ensure production goals are achieved.
• Manage employee timecards and time-off requests for accurate payroll and coverage.
• Champion continuous improvement projects and sustain gains from initiatives.
• Interpret and enforce company disciplinary process consistently.
• Analyze production information using dashboards and SAP.
