Eurest, part of Compass Group USA, located in Newbury Park, CA, is seeking a Safety and EHS Manager to reduce claims and injuries by providing safety and workers’ compensation support to local units. Travel to sites will be required as part of the role.

The ideal candidate will lead OSHA compliance, conduct inspections, train managers, and develop effective loss prevention programs while coordinating with corporate risk management and client policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations of risk factors.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities comply with OSHA and other standards through inspections.
• Maintain ongoing safety awareness programs to promote a safe work environment.
• Support client safety programs and loss prevention initiatives.
• Provide training to managers on safe work practices and incident reporting.
• Deliver monthly status reports to local management.
• Monitor and report on workers’ compensation trends and return-to-work processes.
• Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments at facilities.
• Coordinate safety communications and inspections with client requirements.
