Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a Manager of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to lead a comprehensive safety program across retail stores, workrooms, and distribution centers. You will shape enterprise EHS strategy, drive risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance including OSHA and EPA.

You will partner with Operations, HR, Risk and Legal, develop training, lead audits, and mentor site EHS staff. Occasional travel (20–25%) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• OSHA 30‑Hour Certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire); CSP, ASP, or CIH certification is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, fire codes, workers' compensation processes, and local safety standards.
• Ability to build and enhance a safety program. Proven track record of leading site safety audits, managing incident investigations, and coaching cross‑functional leaders in a decentralized network.
• Proficiency with EHS management software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability and willingness to travel to retail stores and distribution centers (approx. 20–25%).

Responsibilities

• Evolve and execute standardized EHS strategies across retail stores, workrooms, and distribution centers.
• Track enterprise safety KPIs and report risks to senior leadership.
• Partner with HR, Risk, Legal, Facilities, and Operations to align safety objectives.
• Lead safety inspections, site audits, and hazard assessments.
• Coach site EHS staff and safety committees.
• Oversee OSHA logs, training certifications, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead incident investigations and CAPA across sites.
• Deliver EHS training programs for associates and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce safety risks.
