Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily sortation operations and a staff of Package Handlers within a FedEx facility. You will champion Safety Above All and drive performance, coaching, training and discipline as needed to meet metrics.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication with diverse teams, and the ability to analyze data to improve safety and efficiency while maintaining compliance with FXG policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience leading teams, coaching and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for Safety Above All culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage hiring, coaching, training, recognition, performance evaluation and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees for safe and efficient sortation and tracking of packages.
• Analyze performance, identify improvements and implement action plans.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates and daily goals to staff.
• Develop and administer safety strategies and programs.
• Train new employees on duties, performance expectations and FXG policies.
