Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of package handlers and administrative staff in a fast-paced facility. You will champion the Safety Above All culture, coach employees, and ensure safe, efficient sortation and adherence to policy.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage day-to-day operations, and experience in a setting with strict safety and performance standards. On-site position in Kansas City, MO with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as retail, fulfillment or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and assigned staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate and manage staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies and government regulations.
• Lead meetings and communicate operational updates and goals.
• Mentor less-experienced supervisors and adapt to changing needs.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues as needed.
