Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation and staff, uphold the Safety Above All Culture, and ensure compliant operations across the facility. You will manage, mentor and evaluate a team of handlers and administrative staff while delivering safe, efficient performance.

Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, training, conducting performance reviews, and driving improvements in key metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum six months experience in a package handler or similar fast-paced setting.
• In lieu of experience, certification or 2+ years of college courses toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize and evaluate staff.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control daily operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe, efficient sortation.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates and goals.
• Mentor junior supervisors and adapt to change.
